Education
The in-sessional work in the School of Education has expanded since 2023. Currently, we work with students on MA TESOL Studies, MA TESOL, MA Childhood Studies, MA SEN and MA Education, as well as with Level 1 students on BA Education, BA Childhood Studies and BA Psychology with Education. Our timetabled provision is closely aligned with core and option modules for these programmes; student and tutor referrals might also be made for students working on assignment resubmissions or academic integrity issues. The teaching team has expanded and now includes Roya Alimalayeri, Helen Finnerty, Milena Marinkova, Joy Robbins and John Wrigglesworth.

Sociology and Social Policy
Alison Leslie's full-time secondment to the School of Sociology and Social Policy since 2018 has allowed her to work alongside subject tutors to share specialisms and develop understandings of how all students navigate and learn the discipline. Her original role, to help the School cater to a large intake of international students on a new MA programme, is now far wider reaching. In 2024 she was joined by Bee Bond and Olive Nabukeera which means they are now able to cater to all levels of study from Foundation Year to PGR.
