Education

The insessional work in the school of Education has expanded since 2019. Jody Bradford, Michelle Evans and Milena Marinkova now work with students studying on the following MA programmes: TESOL Studies, Childhood Studies, and Education.  There are also plans to work with some undergraduate students in 2022-2023. Students and tutor referrals might also be made for students either resubmitting assignments or working on academic integrity matters. Michelle Evans stepped down in 2023 and has been replaced by Roya Alimalayeri and Helen Finnerty.

Law

Chris Pajak and Peter Matthews started work here in [2015], and have been seconded to the school [four] days per week since [2018]. Although in the early days participation was limited to [a dozen or so] students from across [the whole taught postgraduate (TPG) cohort], they currently average contact with around [180-200] students. Sociology and Social Policy

Alison Leslie's full-time secondment to the School of Sociology and Social Policy since 2018 has allowed her to work alongside subject tutors to share specialisms and develop understandings of how all students navigate and learn the discipline. Her original role, to help the School cater to a large intake of international students on a new MA programme, is now far wider reaching.
