Scholarship
Alison is collaborating on a 3-year project (2022-25) entitled ‘Step Up, Stand Out: Supporting international PGTs to make the most of their year in Leeds’ under the auspices of the Leeds Institute of Teaching Excellence. The project aim is to find effective ways to build international PGTs’ confidence, autonomy, resilience and motivation in stepping up to make the most of their time at Leeds and standing out as valued members of the University community. She is doing this by working with international PGTs as co-creation partners in evaluating and improving the suitability of selected para-curricular resources embedded in her academic literacy provision.
