- What I do
- I support students across the range of MSc programmes, particularly on the research project module CAPE5000M, and am developing support for CAPE1000M, a Year 1 technical skills and applications module.
I provide support to students in the following formats:
Lectures
On CAPE5000M, the module leader and I provide a series of lectures in Semester 2 designed to guide students through the process of communicating with their project supervisor, conducting their literature review, and structuring their interim report. We work with the Faculty's Learning Development Advisor to provide input on effective use of academic databases and use of reference management tools such as EndNote. These sessions are very well received by students:
